Real hip hop buffs know who Choke No Joke is, as they probably followed his Roc-A-Fella Records documentary. Called Last Days of the Roc, his documentary followed Damon Dash as Roc-A-Fella was breaking up. There is also a Jay Z performance clip included.
While Choke No Joke remains an independent filmmaker, he did do some work with BET. He was involved in a lot of BET programs, including “Rap City,” among others. In addition to this, he claims to maintain a good relationship with Jay Z.
Recently, Choke No Joke stopped by “The Breakfast Club,” sharing these stories with DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God. He would vent his frustrations about Funkmaster Flex, along with calling every girl on reality TV gay, and then spoke on his TV work. But, he was there to discuss his documentary, which he also addressed.
