Many predicted the Miami Heat to be just where they are, at the beginning of the season. What wasn’t expected was the amount of injuries they received. Also, the four-way tie between the Heat, their playoff foe Hornets, Hawks, and Celtics was historic.

Luck was on Miami’s side, as they captured the third seed and homecourt advantage without Chris Bosh. Late season health issues sidelined Bosh and it showed when Charlotte had them down 3-2. Good fortune was on the side of the Heat, as they won out in seven games.

The Miami Heat, led by Dwyane Wade, Luol Deng, and Goran Dragic, are now in the second round, playing the Toronto Raptors. Last night, the Heat took game one in overtime to lead 1-0. Excited, Chris Bosh is now putting the pressure on Erik Spoelstra and Pat Riley to allow him to return.
