Chris Brown has spent the weekend as the leading topic of discussion. There were rumors of CB actually knocking Usher out and breaking his nose. Those rumors proved to be untrue, as Usher went onto the Lovers and Friends festival with no marks on his face. Not only did Usher perform at the festival, but Chris Brown also came out and performed. In fact, the two ended up performing on the same stage.
Chris Brown dominated music over the past eighteen years. CB came out the gate making huge hit records. Actually, his first hit single, “Run It,” would become a number one single on Billboard Hot 100. The Juelz Santana-assisted single went onto become a classic. “Run It” was the first of many number one hits from CB. Meanwhile, Usher has one of the highest selling albums of all-time with Confessions.
Chris Brown managed to transcend hip hop and R&B. In addition to his singing, Chris Brown also proved to be a solid rapper. Over the past few years, Chris Brown and Usher have had their names tied together for a potential Verzuz. However, the rumors of them actually getting into a fight were beyond bizarre. Clearly, this wasn’t the case, as the two performed on the same stage at Lovers and Friends.
