Chris Brown says AMAs canceled his Michael Jackson tribute

The upcoming American Music Awards are taking place in Los Angeles this weekend.  Chris Brown was also expected to be one of the performers, for a Michael Jackson tribute.

However, Chris just revealed on Instagram, that the AMAs suddenly decided to scrap this performance. He also posted a video of him rehearsing this performance, as fans were ready for an epic show. In this clip, Chris is seen dancing to several Michael Jackson classic records. His caption read “U SERIOUS?🤦‍♂️”

Chris went on to say that the cancellation of his AMAs performance were for “reasons unknown.” The AMAs have yet to publicly give a reason for this move, though. Chris’  performance would’ve been in celebration of  MJ’s classic “Thriller” album, which was released 40 years ago.

Chris Brown also recently trended for his music, due to finally putting out the music video for his 2019 “Under The Influence” single. That record appeared on his chart-topping “Indigo” album. A day ago, Chris also put out two new Christmas songs, which were “It’s Giving Christmas” and “No Time Like Christmas.”
