Chris Brown is ruining his own Career
One year ago, Chris Brown was looked at as the future of R&B. His style was a mixture of all of the greats and he added something new. The people were really into his music. All that he had to do was release a new single and the people would love it.
However, his incident with Rihanna nearly cost him everything. Now, because of the situation, teenagers across the nation are constantly being talked to about abusive relationships. That is the effect that it had on America, but Chris Brown’s music is hardly played anymore.
To avoid looking like they supported Chris Brown, most of black radio pulled his music. With his new album, Graffiti, still being promoted, this has dramatically hurt him. The places were Brown used to go for support will no longer support him. Because of this and the incident, Brown feels that he is being black-balled.
Publicly, the singer has stated this. After making that statement, he should have ended things there. However, he like many other entertainers took to his Twitter after going to Wal-Mart only to find that they are not carrying his music. The Wal-Mart that he visited said that they did not order any more copies of his music because it was not selling.
But, Chris Brown feels that they do not want to sell his music because of his image. What he fails to realize is that every move that he makes will be looked at as him going crazy. His career is on the decline and all that he should focus on is creating good music. He needs to let his people handle this, behind closed doors.
If he allows this to happen, things will be alright, but he cannot continue to do the things that he is doing. Brown has taken one step in the right direction by shutting down his Twitter account.
