Chris Brown Praises Kyrie Irving as a “Real Hero,” For Refusing to Get Vaccinated Against COVID-19, Making a “Damn Good Choice,” and Not Being Able To Show Up To Play, For His Brooklyn Nets Teammates

Chris Brown praises Kyrie Irving for refusing to get vaccinated

Chris Brown is no stranger to controversy. Though it is often overlooked, neither is Kyrie Irving, of the Brooklyn Nets. Kyrie Irving has not been available to play for the Nets in practice, preseason games, or their 2021-22 season opener. Last night, vs the Milwaukee Bucks, the Nets lost that game. This is all due to the star point guard refusing to get a COVID-19 vaccine. To that end, Kyrie Irving says it violates his rights.

Kyrie Irving has received a lot of expected criticism, for this detrimental move. He maintained his stance that he isn’t anti-vax, but is standing up for people who are losing their jobs, over their refusal to get vaccinated.

Several celebrities have sided with Irving, with the latest now being Chris Brown. This afternoon, the R&B star took to his Instagram Story, to voice his support for Irving, and called him a “real hero.”

“THE REAL HERO!!! I stand with my brother. WHOEVER DON’T LIKE IT….Go live your damn life. IT’S HIS CHOICE AND A DAMN GOOD ONE. ALWAYS IN MY BROTHER’S CORNER.”

At this point, it’s unclear if Irving will play at all, in the Nets’ home games. New York City has a very strict vaccine mandate, and the Nets will continue to not let him come inside the Barclays Center.
