Chris Brown’s Lawyers Seek to be Dropped from Lawsuit Regarding Alleged Rape

By Prince Hakeem

It appears that Chris Brown is going to need a new legal team to help him tackle a lawsuit stemming from an alleged rape which took place at his home back in 2017. If you remember correctly, Brown was sued by a Jane Doe who claimed she was raped in his home. She recalled being invited to the singer’s house where she was forced to give up her phone. That’s when she was allegedly offered a selection of drugs and then raped by Chris, another women and Chris’ friend Lowell Grissom.

Fast forward to 2020 and we now have a lawyer representing Brown filing a motion to be withdrawn from the case. Blair Berk claims that Brown has become too difficult to work with. According to the motion, CB wasn’t upholding his end of their contract. Additionally, she claimed that she never had Brown’s actual phone number, but instead, would be in contact with his manager, Anthony Wilson.

“Over the past several months, Mr. Brown has not met his material obligations under the terms of our engagement letter, and has rendered it unreasonably difficult for Tarlow & Berk to carry out the representation effectively. Our relationship with Mr. Brown has come to a point where Tarlow & Brown and I can no longer adequately defend or represent him,” she said.

Let’s hope that Breezy can find someone to help him with this ongoing case.
