Today was a hard day for those who grew up in the 1990s and were fans of Kris Kross. As everyone knows, last week, Chris “Mac Daddy” Kelly died. Life goes on and people are forced to grow up. The primary way people grow up is when the figures of their childhood die.
Very sad was the death of Chris “Mac Daddy” Kelly, seeing how it appeared to happen after an overdose. Throughout his career, Chris “Mac Daddy” Kelly has dealt with sickle cell anemia, which made his drug use quite surprising. This past week, the final plans were being made for Chris Kelly.
Earlier today, Chris “Mac Daddy” Kelly was laid to rest and, of course, Chris “Daddy Mac” Smith was present for his friend. At the funeral, Smith unsuccessfully fought the tears, as he spoke on his friend. Jermaine Dupri, Da Brat, and Tameka “Tiny” Cottle were in attendance at the funeral and TMZ has the footage.
