Chris Rock slams ‘Bad Boys 4’ slap scene as ‘cheap stunt’

Chris Rock slams Bad Boys 4 slap scene as cheap stunt

Chris Rock is reportedly unhappy with Will Smith’s new movie, Bad Boys: Ride or Die, due to a “slap scene.” It’s reminiscent of the infamous Oscars incident. Two years ago, Will Smith infamously slapped Chris Rock during the Oscars. According to sources, Rock feels the scene is a “cheap stunt” and has been vocal about his disdain.

A close source revealed, “Chris thinks it’s a pretty cheap stunt and he’s telling people how lame he finds it. It’s a classic case of Will making light of a horrific situation. Will’s playing the victim. It was the lowest point of his career, but that’s no excuse.”

Rock is not alone in his criticism. Sports analyst Stephen A. Smith has also called for Will Smith to provide a detailed explanation of his actions during the Oscars. On The Stephen A. Smith Show, he stated, “I’m not nearly as interested in seeing Will Smith in the movies than I am of seeing him doing an actual sit-down interview with somebody to explain why he did what he did.”

Despite the controversy, Bad Boys: Ride or Die earned $104.6 million globally in its opening weekend.
