Chrissy Lampkin insists her wedding to Jim Jones is taking place soon

VH1 premiered “Love & Hip Hop” in 2011 and the world immediately met Jim Jones’ longtime girlfriend, Chrissy Lampkin. Her situation was a unique one, as she loved a man whose mother hated her and she wasn’t sure if he’d marry her. The first two seasons of the show displayed the back and forth between Chrissy and Jim Jones.

“Love & Hip Hop” was overhauled following the second season and many cast members left the show. Chrissy Lampkin and Jim Jones were among the people who left and they got their own show, “Chrissy & Mr. Jones.” Their current series is similar to the original premise of “Love & Hip Hop.”

During a recent interview with Sister 2 Sister, Chrissy Lampkin spoke on her relationship with Jim Jones. It’s been over a year since Jim Jones proposed to her in Miami and their show is going into season two. Chrissy Lampkin confirmed they will soon wed, but she is not sure if it will happen on television.
