City Girls to release “R.A.W.” album on October 20
All year long, City Girls fans have been waiting for an album from the Miami duo to finally be released. In late 2022, City Girls initially planned on a top of 2023 release date. However, that timeframe went on to be postponed.
However, City Girls have just revealed the title and release date of their for their forthcoming album, during a new interview at the BET Hip-Hop Awards. This project is “R.A.W.,” which is an abbreviation for “Raw A** Whores.” Moreover, it will be available on October 20. R.A.W. will be City Girls’ first project since their 2020 sophomore album, “City On Lock.” This announcement also comes as they’ve been headlining major festival performances this year, such as Rolling Loud and Summer Jam Houston.
Meanwhile, City Girls have been very consistent this year, in preparation for their R.A.W. album. These have included releases of singles such as “I Need A Thug” and “Piñata.” They also appeared on Diddy’s “Act Bad” single with Fabolous. In July, JT even put out her own buzzing solo single, which was “No Bars.” As a result, City Girls may now have one of the hottest projects out, to close out 2023.
