City Girls‘ JT launches No Bars Reform to help incarcerated women
On Friday, JT of the City Girls released her first solo single, since 2020. This is “No Bars,” as fans were impressed with the Miami rapper’s delivery on this record.
Meanwhile, JT has also just launched an initiative to help incarcerated women who are being released from prison, transition back to society. This is with her No Bars Reform, as it provides resources to these women, in assisting them transition back into society. This comes after JT was incarcerated for nearly two years, and being released in early 2020.
Furthermore, the resources that No Bars Reform provides, are therapy, job placement, social services, and housing. The Reform also noted that between 1980 and 2021, the number of incarcerated women increased by more than 525%, which rose from a total of 26,326 in 1980 to 168,449 in 2021.
Meanwhile, JT is also scheduled to perform at Rolling Loud Miami with Yung Miami, next weekend. City Girls have been a frequent headliner at Rolling Loud festivals over the last several years, and have delivered plenty of energetic performances. JT & Miami also headlined Summer Jam Houston, in May.
