City Girls’ JT shows off driver rapping Young Dolph’s “Preach”

JT of the City Girls frequently trends on social media, and is once again. This is due to her posting a video of one of her rideshare drivers playing the late Young Dolph’s classic 2014 breakout single, “Preach,” in his car.

This driver goes by Ern, as he’s seen rapping one of the verses to Dolph’s verses from Preach. JT’s caption in her video read “[Laughing emojis] Yeah Ern!”

Preach remains one of Dolph’s biggest records to date, as the remix also included Jeezy and Rick Ross. Dolph tragically went on to be shot and killed in his hometown of Memphis, outside of Makeda’s Homemade Cookies, in November 2021.

Meanwhile, a new City Girls album may finally be coming this summer. Yung Miami recently revealed this in a new interview with The Cut. This comes after initially planning a top of 2023 release date. Miami and JT’s last project came back in June 2020, which was their sophomore album, “City On Lock.” The duo’s last single was “Good Love,” featuring Usher, last summer. They’ve since been performing at various festivals, including Rolling Loud Miami and California.
