Coi Leray hosts Thanksgiving giveback event in Boston
This week, Coi Leray gave back to her hometown of Boston, for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. She and her non-profit organization Camp Courage helped the students and parents of Horizons for Homeless Children.
Moreover, over 200 students and their families went on to meet Coi and participated in a family-friendly dance party. Furthermore, they were also treated to nut-free, fall-themed snacks, as well aa activities such as face painting, pumpkin painting, and even a Thanksgiving coloring station. In addition to these events, Coi also donated educational items to these students.
November has also been major for Coi, as she also earned her first ever Grammy nominations. These were for Best Rap Performance”for “Players” and “Best Pop Dance Recording” for “Baby Don’t Hurt Me” with David Guetta and Anne Marie.
Coi also put out two projects this year, which included her sophomore album “COI” in June, and her “Blue Moon” EP in August. This all came amid her also hitting some of the biggest stages this year, such as Rolling Loud in Los Angeles and Miami, Afro Nation in Detroit, as well as Listen Out in Melbourne, Australia.
