Coi Leray’s consistency over the past year has been nothing short of impressive. Last spring saw her release her debut studio album, “Trendsetter.” That was led by hits such as “Big Purr” featuring Pooh Shiesty, “Blick Blick” featuring Nicki Minaj, as well as “No More Parties” remix, featuring Lil Durk.
In the fall of 2022, Coi continued her momentum with hits such “Fly Sh*t” and “Players.” That record has been dominant in 2023 as well, as it reached a peak of number eight on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It’s also received major remixes with DJ Smallz, David Guetta, DJ Saigee and Busta Rhymes, and more. Coi also appeared on David Guetta and Ann-Marie’s “Baby Don’t Hurt Me.” Last month, Coi went on to put out her “Bops” and “My Body” single, as well.
Meanwhile, Coi has also dropped some big news, regarding her sophomore album. This project is titled “COI” and is set to be released on June 23. Coi also unveiled the album’s official cover art, as she’s posing in an aqua-colored outfit.
“From my versatility to my sex appeal to my masculine energy… this album is gonna show you that if I’m not the best then I’m one of the best of generation,” Coi said on Twitter. “Coi . June 23rd . Mark the date. Thank you to everyone who has supported me and watched me grow on my journey.”
Furthermore, Coi also went on to preview several records from this upcoming album, on Twitter. These included “Make My Day” and “Get Loud.”
