In 2021, Coi Leray has been one of the year’s biggest phenoms. She took over the game, with her “No More Parties” single, and she’s outlasted the other breakout artists. Now, Coi Leray is being compared to one of the legends, Aaliyah.

Coi Leray is the daughter of Benzino and she aired their family business for the public. Thankfully, she and her father were able to work through their differences. Benzino proudly spoke of how close he and his daughter have become, since their previous spat.

Always trying new looks, Coi Leray went on TikTok, with an outfit reminiscent of Aaliyah, in “Try Again.” The look immediately went viral, as fans were here for it. Immediately, people made the Aaliyah comparison, telling Coi that she owned this.
