Comparable to G-Unit, a decade ago, the Coke Boys have taken over New York’s hip hop scene. With several members in the crew, each is finding their own success. Coke Boy Brock recently released his latest mixtape, The Blackout 2. Earlier today, Hip Hop Vibe spoke to Droop Pop, one of the many group-mates of Coke Boy Brock.
Following in the footsteps of French Montana, Coke Boy Brock has released a continious flow of music over the past few weeks. It was last summer when French Montana began releasing his series of songs, which made him one of the hottest rappers in the game. Coke Boy Brock hopes his success could eventually swell the way French Montana’s did.
Coke Boy Brock recently showed the making of his video for “Mackin’/Actin’ Up,” which is a remix of the popular Maybach Music song. The original version of the song features French Montana. The full version of Coke Boy Brock’s version features Coke Moolah. But, the video shows both “Mackin'” and “Actin’ Up” and was released earlier today.
