Cole from Martin with Debbie Allen at the BET Awards surprised fans
Cole, from “Martin,” whose real name is Carl Anthony Payne III, was at the BET Awards. During Taraji P. Henson’s intermission, she paid homage to the HBCUs. This led to Debbie Allen taking the stage. Like Taraji, Debbie Allen is an alum of Howard University.
Cole ended up taking the attention from Debbie Allen. As she was speaking, fans began noticing the man to the left of Debbie Allen. While the man looked like Carl Anthony Payne III, a lot of people were not sure. After another look, fans were sure this was Cole.
Cole would later take the stage with Tisha Campbell, in promotion of the “Martin” reunion. During Cole’s second stint on the stage, he made it clear his name is Carl. Before that, Cole was on stage with Debbie Allen. When Cole was on stage, fans were trying to figure out if it was really him. Before Cole went back on stage and cleared things up, he had people talking. The fans were beyond happy to have Carl Anthony Payne III show up at the BET Awards.
