Colin Kaepernick reached out to Jets about Aaron Rodgers position
Colin Kaepernick ended up being the NFL’s biggest name, a few years ago. Even the president, at the time, had words for Kaepernick. Meanwhile, simply from kneeling, he became the NFL’s most recognized player. When no team would sign him, Kaepernick got a partnership with Nike. In addition, he got a co-sign from Jay-Z. While some debate whether that was good or bad, Kaepernick is still in playing shape. With Aaron Rodgers going down with an Achilles injury, last night, Kaepernick reportedly contacted the New York Jets about a position.
Colin Kaepernick began trending, as soon as Aaron Rodgers went down with an injury. Before last night’s game started, there was a profile on Rodgers. The segment spoke on how Rodgers left the Green Bay Packers for the New York Jets. During the game, the commentators pointed out how much of the Packers’ personnel that the Jets hired. All of this was to accommodate Rodgers. Minutes later, Rodgers was critically injured.
Colin Kaepernick’s name has come up as a replacement for Aaron Rodgers. While he was never a star quarterback, Kaepernick did lead a team to the NFC East championship game. Obviously, his choice to kneel before games led to his dismissal from the league. Despite all of the protesting, Kaepernick has yet to return to the league. However, this hasn’t stopped fans from campaigning for him. In addition, there are reports of Kaepernick, himself, reaching out to the Jets for a job.
