Biannca Prince tried to do damage control over her colorist comments about her newborn baby’s eyes and skin color, but it seems like she just made matters worse.
A few days ago, we reported how fans were mad that Damien and Biannca were worried about their baby’s skin and eye color, as soon as the baby was born. Biannca looked at her daughter in her brown eyes and said to her “I thought you were going to have pretty eyes.”
In a newer video, Biannca says that when she said “pretty eyes” she meant “green eyes.” She then goes on to say that brown eyes don’t get complimented from people, only green, blue and hazel eyes.
I don’t know what world Biannca and Damien live in where their comments are deemed acceptable, but it ain’t here. Their explanation video made me sad for their children. They are already being exposed to colorism at such young ages. Both Biannca and Damien need to do some deep soul searching because it’s clear that they have issues within themselves. If you are subscribed to their Youtube channel, I suggest you give that subscription to someone who is less ignorant.
