Conway The Machine reveals that he’s no longer signed to Shady Records and Griselda Records [VIDEO]

Conway The Machine isn’t signed to Griselda Records or Shady Records

Over the last several years, Conway The Machine has been viewed as one of the best lyricists in the game. He’s a household name at Griselda Records as well, which is home to acts such as Benny The Butcher and Westside Gunn. At the same time, Conway is signed to Eminem’s Shady Records.

In a recent interview on the Bootleg Kev Podcast though, Conway revealed that he’s no longer signed to either Griselda or Shady. He views this situation as a free agent scenario though, and doesn’t rule out returning to Griselda.

“Yeah, like sitting right here right now, I’m not on a contract with Griselda, Shady none of that shit no more. “It’s free agency right now you heard. I need that supermax man, I need that Giannis bag. Griselda, that’s mine.  put that s*it on my back. Me and bro [Westside Gunn] built that. We haven’t really talked about that who knows, I mean that’s all of our intentions. It’s definite mine. But I’m just saying as of right now like it’s the end like you know. The paperwork I signed has been fulfilled it’s been fulfilled. It was all in together, like my Shady paperwork and Griselda paperwork, everything’s been fulfilled. And now it’s time to sit back at the round table and figure out the future is and what it got in store for me.”

Conway’s “God Don’t Make Mistakes” album is also being released on February 25. Last spring, the Buffalo rapper put out his “La Maquina” album, which included collaborations with Ludacris, 2 Chainz, Westside Gunn, Benny The Butcher, and more.

Conway is also venturing on his “Love Will Get You Killed” international tour, this spring. The first show kicks off on March 25, in Amsterdam. The tour runs through May 8, as it will conclude in Montreal, Canada.
