Coolio passes away at 59 due to suspected cardiac arrest

Coolio is regarded as one of the most iconic rappers out of the west coast, from the 1990s. His breakout hit occurred in 1995, with “Gangsta’s Paradise.” That record featured L.V, went on to debut at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and is 3x platinum in the US.

Unfortunately, Coolio suddenly passed away, on Wednesday night, according to TMZ. The Compton rapper was in Los Angeles, at a friend’s house. Coolio was said to have been in the bathroom if that person’s home, according to his manager, Jarez.

Coolio’s friend ended up checking on him, due to him being in the bathroom for a very long time. Soon, he was found lying on the floor, and unconscious. EMTs were called to the home, as Coolio was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of death is suspected to be cardiac arrest, but that hasn’t been made official yet.

Coolio released nine studio albums, with his previous one being “From The Bottom 2 The Top,” back in July of 2009. His debut album came in July 1994, which was “It Takes A Thief.”
