Lil Wayne chose Cory Gunz to appear on “6 Foot 7 Foot,” the first single off his Tha Carter IV triple platinum album. At the time, many felt it would have been good for Lil Wayne to then focus on releasing solo music from Cory Gunz. However, Lil Wayne ultimately decided to have Cory Gunz wait on releasing an album.
For close to a year, however, Cory Gunz was all over the radio, as “6 Foot 7 Foot” became a monster hit. After the song faded away, however, so did Cory Gunz. In 2012, Cory Gunz has maintained a small buzz. Much of his buzz has come from his mixtape tracks and his collaborations with other New York rappers.
Recently, Cory Gunz revealed he had a new mixtape in the works. That’s WTF I’m Talkin’ ‘Bout is the name of the new mixtape. Not much information has been revealed about the new project. Cory Gunz sat down with FUSE TV and he broke his silence on the new project.
