Country Grammar is trending on Twitter, as Nelly fans clown young fans who think “Country Grammar” is just a song, and not an album, one of the most-successful of all-time, after Nelly was announced as a Bonnaroo 2020 performer

So much is said about 50 Cent and the sales of his commercial debut album, that other powerful debuts are overlooked. Musical style, and content, aside, 50 Cent’s career is most-comparable to Nelly’s. Three years prior, Nelly put St. Louis on the map.
Nelly did so with his “Country Grammar (Hot Sh*t)” single, the lead single off hisĀ Country Grammar album. That album was one of the most-successful rap albums of all-time, eventually going diamond. It set the stage for Nelly to dominate the early 2000s.
As the afternoon approaches, Nelly’s classic debut album is trending on Twitter. This is due to Nelly being booked to perform at Bonnaroo, this summer, in Tennessee. Fans on Twitter joked, saying Nelly was going to perform “Country Grammar,” and then leave, but older heads, Nelly fans, clowned them, because they didn’t seem to realizeĀ Country Grammar is an entire album.
