Consisting of four of hip hop’s most-overlooked artists, Slaughterhouse took the game over as a united front. Each member of the crew had languished on major labels while awaiting the release of their albums. Royce Da 5’9, Joell Ortiz, Joe Budden, and Crooked I came together to form a strong union.

Slaughterhouse has been rumored to sign with Eminem ever since they came together. It would eventually be the case, but Slaughterhouse did not sign with Shady Records right away. Instead, Slaughterhouse put out their self-titled debut album on E1 Music and then signed with Shady Records.

Last summer, Slaughterhouse finally released welcome to: OUR House and they have not looked back since. Coming up next from Slaughterhouse is a new album, according to member, Crooked I. Talking to AllHipHop.com, Crooked I said he felt they were slept on last time and would be coming back harder this time around.
