Recently, CupcakKe got into a little controversy, in the media. She is one of many rising rappers that’s beginning to make some noise. Her popularity is growing and it’s growing so much that Cardi B actually booked her to perform at her Fashion Nova show.
Unfortunately, CupcakKe ended up backing out of the show, when her performance time was cut. While CupcakKe went in on Fashion Nova, she had nothing but kind words for Cardi B. Many fans were turned off, calling CupcakKe “ungrateful.”
CupcakKe ended up speaking out about why she backed out of the show, telling the fans she didn’t really need the show. When it comes to money, she might be right. Earlier this week, CupcakKe was all over Twitter, giving out money, giving close to $10,000 to fans, before giving out $12,000 in furniture.
