Curren$y says he missed Wiz Khalifa’s wedding because he was “too high” [VIDEO]

Curren$y 3Back in the day, Lil Wayne took over as president of Cash Money Records and was granted Young Money. The original Young Money label launched in 2005 and Curren$y was the first artist signed to the label. In 2007, Curren$y left the label in favor of his own movement.

Once he went independent, Curren$y began to hit the game hard with his independent releases. This move to the independent scene coincided with Wiz Khalifa’s emergence on the Pittsburgh hip hop scene. Making similar music and using the same format, the two rappers linked up and became friends.

For well over five years, Curren$y and Wiz Khalifa have collaborated with each other and have hung out as friends. When Wiz Khalifa had his wedding with Amber Rose, all of his friends were there, except Curren$y. TMZ asked him about this and Curren$y replied “cause I was too high.”
