When it comes to mixtapes, over the past few years, Curren$y, Big Sean, and Wiz Khalifa have been three of the biggest figures. Along with a host of others, the trio have gained fame through their mixtapes. Now all major label artists, each has put out official studio albums.
Last summer, Big Sean and Wiz Khalifa enjoyed the success of their debut albums, releasing many big singles. Slowly, they became two of the biggest new names in hip hop, building strong mainstream followings. Curren$y, meanwhile, prepared his next major label album.
After announcing a joint mixtape with Big Sean and Wiz Khalifa, Curren$y completed his album and the other two worked on their new albums. With a delayed mixtape with only Wiz Khalifa, Curren$y spoke on his other delayed mixtape. Curren$y spoke with FUSE TV.
