Change needs to happen, because if it doesn’t, there will be complete anarchy when it comes to black people. What happened last night in the case of Philando Castile in Minnesota should stand for something. It was disgusting what happened to that man, in front of those babies.
Once again, all of the major figures in urban entertainment are speaking, but where is the action. Although he caught tons of flack for his comments, Jesse Williams was right. Also, he doesn’t deserve to lose his job for speaking the truth.
This afternoon, D.L. Hughley came with even more truth. He addressed the Philando Castile shooting and brought up several valuable points to keep mental note of. His key phrase was “a White Man in America with a gun is a patriot, a Black man in America with a gun is a thug,” when questioning where the NRA is in response to what the police did.
