DaBaby addresses being cancelled on “Whole Lotta Money” remix, admitting he lost a lot of money, but bragging about already having made investments

DaBaby admits he lost a lot of money, after being cancelled, but brags about already having investmentsThere were four years, where DaBaby dominated, before he became famous. The Charlotte rapper built a consistency, starting in 2015. Keeping the music coming, he emerged, in 2019, as one of the hottest rappers in the game.

DaBaby followed up 2019 with, arguably, an even better 2020 run. This period saw him change his style up, but continue winning. Posting big numbers, he was an obvious get for Rolling Loud, where he had a headlining performance.

At Rolling Loud, DaBaby took major chances with his career. It’s now-forgotten, but he initially took a lot of backlash for having Tory Lanez on stage with him, right after Megan Thee Stallion performed, but his comments about gay men led to him being cancelled. On his remix of Bia’s “Whole Lotta Money,” he addressed this, admitting he lost a lot of money, but bragging about making investments, beforehand.
