DaBaby Countersuing Massachusetts Promoter Who’s Suing Him For Not Performing At Club; Baby Says He Wasn’t Given Security As It Stated In Contract [VIDEO]

DaBaby has been one of the most successful new artists in hip-hop in 2019 as he released his hit single “Suge” which appeared on his debut album “Baby On Baby” in the spring. Last month, he put out his second album, “Kirk.” That project featured hits such as the intro, “Vibez,” and “iPhone” featuring Nicki Minaj.

Baby has gotten into some drama at his shows as well as his security knocked out the Massachusetts rapper Don Trag back in May. Trag supposedly wanted a photo with Baby and it didn’t end well. Trag was scheduled to open for Baby at Centro Night Club in Lawrence. Baby didn’t end up performing that night and a promoter sued for it in July as the Charlotte rapper was supposedly paid up front and he dipped.

Baby is now countersuing Nothing To Something ENTertainment for breach of contract. Baby is suing them for not providing him security as it was stated in their contract. This is the reason why the performance didn’t happen. Court documents obtained by TMZ state that the promoter promised him two security guards.

Documents also add that Baby said that NTS is supposed to cover him for damages to Trag’s lawsuit. Trag was facing life-threatening injuries but has been recovering since. It’s surprising that Baby didn’t have his own security considering the fact that it seems like they sadly view everyone as a threat everywhere they go. A woman was recently scared to come up to Baby for fear that she’d get knocked out too.
