DaBaby has had one of the biggest breakout years with two albums in “Baby on Baby” and “Kirk” this past fall. He also had social media on fire last week as an alleged leaked video of his private area surfaced but it was supposedly not him.
Baby is making headlines again as last night, he performed in his hometown of Charlotte at Bojangles’ Coliseum. Following a successful show, 15 cops surrounded his car as he left the venue, according to TMZ. They searched the car and found weed in it as he was cited for that. This show was also to make up for a canceled one where he ended up performing on FaceTime.
Baby believed that this was an illegal search as they also cited him for resisting an officer. Police supposedly received a “bogus tip” about drugs and guns being in the car. Guns ended up being far from the truth. Prior to rocking the stage in his city, Baby was giving out gifts in local Charlotte communities for the holidays.
