DaBaby Reportedly Recently Met With Nine HIV Awareness Organizations, to Apologize For Comments Made Against People With HIV/AIDS, During Rolling Loud Performance, Last Month

Many remember in late July, when DaBaby made anti LGBTQ comments during his Rolling Loud provenance set. He also bashed people who are living with AIDS/HIV.

The Charlotte rapper has since been removed from the lineups of over 10 music festivals. These include Day N Vegas, Lollapalooza, snd iHeartRadio Music Festival. DaBaby’s also been removed from the remix to Dua Lipa’s international hit single, “Levitating”.

Now, after several apologies that didn’t seem sincere, DaBaby has apologized to nine HIV awareness organizations, according to TMZ. People living this virus with spoke with DaBaby, as this came after they sent him in a letter earlier this month, with the intention to have a conversation with him.

DaBaby went on to apologize in this meeting, and was “genuinely engaged.” Marnina Miller of the Southern AIDS Coalition, also approved of his efforts, in this meeting. Some of the other HIV awareness organizations said to have attended this meeting were the Black AIDS Institute, GLAAD, Positive Women’s Network and Transinclusive Group.

DaBaby will definitely have to make efforts such as this, to stop getting canceled even further. This meeting came after dropping his “Whole Lott Money” freestyle, where he brushed off getting canceled, as well as on Kanye West’s “Jail part 2.”
