Last month, DaBaby got into some serious legal issues as his entourage beat down Miami club promoter Kenneth Carey after allegedly not receiving $10,000 out of the $30,000 in total he was supposed to get for a club appearance.

Carey has since given Baby time to settle the case with him but there’s been no response so now a lawsuit is on, according to TMZ. It’s against Baby, the men he was with who beat him down, and his entertainment company. Legal documents states that Baby was originally set to host a birthday party for Stunna 4 Vegas.

The original flat rate price to book Baby was $20,000. Carey arranged hotels and cars for Baby’s crew when they got to the city but one of the rental cars was returned as damaged. Baby wanted Carey to pay the $10k in damage since he gave Carey a discount on the booking appearance.

Carey didn’t want to do this at all and that’s when he supposedly got beat down. He also got hurt because he promised to pay the remaining $10,000 of the $30k later as opposed to on the spot. Both Baby and Stunna didn’t show up for the club appearance either.

In the lawsuit, Carey is suing for battery, breach of contract, defamation, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and more. He wants to come out on top in court by receiving $6 million. This is a possibility as video footage captured the assault. Check out the footage below.
