DaBaby’s ‘Blame It On Baby’ Album Debuts At No. 1 on Billboard 200 Chart With 124,000 Units in First Week

Last week, DaBaby released his third album since last spring with ‘Blame It On Baby.’ This project was led by the single “Find My Way” and also has another hit on his hands from this “Nasty” featuring Ashanti and Megan Thee Stallion. Now, Blame It On Baby has become another huge win for the Charlotte rapper.

According to Chart Data, Blame It On Baby has reached the top spot on the Billboard 200 chart with 124,000 units in its first week. This includes 158.84 million on-demand streams.” This album marks the second consecutive No. 1 album for Baby, as his ‘Kirk‘ album from last fall also reached this mark.

Last month, Baby’s debut studio album ‘Baby On Baby’ and ‘Kirk’ both went platinum. Coincidentally, this was on the same day from a year ago that Baby’s father passed away. The Kirk album titled paid homage to his name as that is Baby’s last name as well. He’s proven to be one of the most consistent artists in the game as he also told Ebro that he plans on releasing another album in 2020.
