DaBaby’s Team Reportedly Says He Wasn’t Dropped From Parklife Festival Lineup, Over Homophobic Comments Made at Rolling Loud; Supposedly Pulled Out of It Himself Due To Previous Canceled Events, Due To COVID-19
DaBaby has been catching a lot of heat online since Sunday, due to homophobic comments and insensitive remarks made about people with AIDS/HIV on stage, at the Rolling Loud festival, in Miami. The Charlotte rapper also got hate for bringing out Tory Lanez to perform “SKAT” with him, who is Megan Thee Stallion’s rival.
DaBaby has since been losing partnerships, such as the clothing company, Boohoo. Dua Lipa, who he collaborated with on her smash hit “Levitating” remix, also condemned his comments.
Now, it appears that the Parklife festival, which is taking place in Manchester, England, from September 11-12 dropped DaBaby. He was on their flyer earlier this month, and with his latest comments, appears to not be coming to England due to this.
According to TMZ though, DaBaby’s team told the outlet that this isn’t the case. Baby actually supposedly dropped out of the festival months ago, due to events being canceled over COVID-19, months ago. Parklife also added that them include DaBaby on their latest lineup was a mistake.
DaBaby has since been promoting his new “Giving What It’s Supposed To Give” song, as the video for it has also been drawing controversy. DaBaby was loved a year ago, but is now on everyone’s bad side, since retweeting a post about he and Tory Lanez being cool, due to shooting people, and now, these latest homophobic comments.
