DaBaby’s Third Studio Album, ‘Blame It On Baby,’ Officially Certified Platinum After Massive Success of ‘Rockstar’ Single Featuring Roddy Ricch

DaBaby has had another amazing year for himself musically ever since he broke out as a star in early 2019 with his “Suge” single and debut studio album, “Baby On Baby.” He went on to release his “Kirk” project in September which debuted at No. 1 and is at platinum status.

The Charlotte rapper continued to display his consistency as this past spring, he released his third album, “Blame It On Baby.” It was led by the “Find My Way” single and the project debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and then, the biggest record would go on to be “Rockstar,” featuring Roddy Ricch. This single has since been certified 4x platinum by the RIAA. Baby and Roddy also did their own Black Lives Matter remix for Rockstar, as its music video was also aired during the BET Awards this summer.

Blame It On Baby as a whole continues to do very well as it has now reached platinum status, according to Chart Data. This is after selling 1 million units. Among other notable records on this album are “Nasty” featuring Megan Thee Stallion and Ashanti and “Jump” feat. NBA Youngboy. The deluxe edition was also released in August which included 10 more tracks with features from Young Thug and Stunna 4 Vegas.
