Famed music producer, Dallas Austin, made some hit records. He also had his hands involved in things most didn’t realize he did. Early in Busta Rhymes’ career, he advised him on founding Flipmode Records.
Dallas Austin was definitely at the center of that Atlanta era, which put the city on the map. He was even one half of a power couple, alongside Chili. But, when the two split, things got ugly.
Recently, Dallas Austin spoke to Angela Yee, on her Fox Soul show, “Established with Angela Yee.” The interview saw him discuss his breakup with Chili, which included him leaving Atlanta for Miami. When he offered her to move with him, she refused, later permanently leaving him, and moving on with Usher, whom Austin said was a friend of his, and he said that situation made him want to “kill everybody.”
