To say this has all been Damian Lillard’s fault isn’t right, but the Blazers are definitely the bust of the playoffs. It wasn’t that long ago when this team was very fun to watch. When the season reached the home stretch, Portland went on a very strong run.
Damian Lillard led the Blazers to a 14-game win streak, which included a win over Golden State. Then, it looked like the Blazers would give them a run for the two spot. But, they cooled off, and didn’t even get 50 wins, going 49-33, but held on to the third seed.
It turns out, it didn’t even matter that Damian Lillard’s crew got the third seed, or the 49-33 record. They got New Orleans, in the first round, and the Pelicans tied the Thunder and Jazz at 48-34. The Pelicans went into Portland and played it like it was their home court, and went to the N-O, and routed them, so Dame Lillard is being roasted by Twitter, they’re calling him Javaris Crittenton and Monta Ellis, who can rap.
