In recent years, Damon Dash has gone through many public hardships and caught much flack for it. But, when Dame had it, he was the hottest mogul in hip hop. However he did it, Dash made millions, as Jay-Z so eloquently pointed out on The Blueprint 3 intro.
Since then, Damon Dash reorganized his work and is preparing to get those millions back. Among his various business partners is Kanye West, a man focused on building an empire of his own. The former co-workers for the Roc have teamed up for a film company, with Loisaidas being first.
Damon Dash has gone all over making his promotional rounds for the movie and his new business ventures. Despite the amount of #TweetLikeDameDash jokes on social media, his business definitely had the most attention since the early 2000s. Now, Damon Dash and Kanye West are being sued over the Loisaidas, as it is a Spanish term for the Lower East Side of New York and the name of a Spanish group, which is now suing the duo for diminishing their brand name.
