Damson Idris fans are upset Snowfall isn’t nominated for an Emmy
Damson Idris literally went from a boy to a man, during his time on “Snowfall.” John Singleton predicted that Damson would become a star. Not only that, but Damson also became a cultural icon in the process. Viewers have loved how Idris is really British, but he does the American West Coast accent so well. During the “Snowfall” series finale, Damson used the accent to talk to fans. He said he was likely using it for the last time. Despite an action-packed season ending, the show isn’t up for an Emmy.
Damson Idris became a household name, over the course of six years. He starred on “Snowfall” as Franklin Saint and the world fell for his portrayal. The character of Franklin was an ambitious nineteen year old kid, who was tired of going to school, and tired of his job. On top of that, he was tired of living poor with his mother. As a result, he takes a risk and becomes a trafficker in Los Angeles. After that, he earns $73 million, before it all came crashing down.
Damson Idris’ portrayal of Franklin in “Snowfall” season six was award-worthy. Season six saw the aftermath of Franklin’s empire falling down. The whole “Snowfall” cast came with some of the best acting performances in the history of the show. Meanwhile, “Snowfall” became the most popular show on television. However, with the Emmy award nominations being out, “Snowfall” has not received a mention. As a result, the fans are outraged and taking their frustrations to social media.
