Race relations have gotten worse, instead of getting better. While this era is the “present,” it is the “future,” in times when many envisioned so much progress. By now, flying cars, and intergalactic travel should be a thing, according to TV shows, of the 1960s.
Instead, there are still a large number of white people who hate black people for being black. The police are still killing innocent black people and the president doesn’t seem to care. Along with this, white people are just as comfortable calling black people “n*gger” as ever.
Daneshia Nichols, a North Carolina native shared a disturbing story to Facebook. Her mother was shopping at a local Food Lion, where she encountered the woman in the photo. This woman called her a “fat, black, n*gga,” and then smiled for the photo the mother took of her, before driving off.
