The Midwest is full of hip hop talent, as several new stars have emerged over the past few years. Such Midwestern cities as St. Louis, Detroit, and Chicago have experienced comebacks. Meanwhile, cities like Cleveland and Minnesota’s Twin Cities are enjoying hip hop stardom for the first time.

Danny Brown, alongside Big Sean, represents the new era of Detroit hip hop, outside of the movement started by D12 and Eminem. A popular mixtape rapper, Danny Brown found an ally in the rap game in A$AP Rocky. Like Rocky, Danny Brown is preparing for the release of his official debut album.

FUSE TV recently spoke to Danny Brown and he discussed his debut album, which is titled ODB. The album is named after Ol’ Dirty Bastard (ODB), the deceased member of the Wu-Tang Clan. Danny Brown spoke on what to expect and how it stacks up to his previous album, XXX.
