A new era in Detroit hip hop has hit the hip hop world and this scene has plenty of characters. Quickly rising to the top of this hip hop scene is Danny Brown, who is unlike any other artist in the game. Danny Brown is putting the finishing touches on his upcoming album, OLD.
Tradition in media is a person doing several interviews with various outlets to promote their projects. When Danny Brown went to do this, he was asked about Big Sean, since they are from the same city. Boasting drastically different styles, Danny Brown said he did not consider Big Sean to really be Detroit hip hop.
