Coming into this series, the New Orleans Pelicans were expected to make noise, against the Warriors. So far, it’s looking like 2015, all over again, though. With Steph Curry being out, Rajon Rondo was expected to really show up.
The Golden State Warriors are a deep team, and without Curry, they still have Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, and Kevin Durant. This trio is enough to put most teams away. In the first half, they showed Davis’ squad why they won two titles in three years.
However, Darius Miller showed the Warriors, and the world, to never give up until the buzzer ends. New Orleans had no way of leading at halftime, but Miller’s crosscourt three did put things in motion. A lot of fans mistakenly thought Rajon Rondo hit the shot, so did we, but Twitter doesn’t care, that shot was sick.
