Dave East Cited For Disorderly Conduct and Possession of Marijuana in NYC After Being Pulled Over For Not Signaling Turn [VIDEO]

Dave East had a very successful debut studio album with ‘Survival‘ as it featured the hit single “Alone” feat. Jacquees. Other hot records emerged from this project as well such as “Need A Sign” feat. Teyana Taylor, “Godfather 4” feat. Nas, and “Everyday” feat. Gunna. Survival debuted at No. 11 on the Billboard 200 chart.

East ran into some trouble early Friday morning though as he was cited for possession of marijuana and disorderly conduct in NYC, according to NBC NY 4. This was in the Queensbridge Houses area of Queens. East was reportedly in the backseat of an SUV as it was pulled over for failing to signal a turn.

Police say that over half a dozen bags of marijuana were found inside the car that the Harlem rapper was in. The driver complied with police and didn’t receive any tickets but East and another passenger were “combative” when asked to see their IDs. As East was being held by police, someone in the video posted to East’s Instagram account said that the situation was harassment. East’s caption read “REST IN PARADISE SHOOTER S*IT DONT STOP F*CC NYPD TILL I SEE U AGAIN 💙.”

Hopefully, East will avoid these situations after this incident. He’s currently working on the third installment of his ‘Karma 3’ mixtape. Check out the video of East with NYPD last night below.
