In a new video circulating online, Dave East is seen receiving cruel treatment from law enforcement. Dave East is in Montreal, Canada, hitting multiple venues and bars performing. On December 19th, Dave gave a show at Le Rouge Bar, shortly after his show the police searched the venue. Afterwards, Dave is seen yelling in frustration before multiple police pepper spray him and everyone he was with.

Dave East is one of the most underrated rap artist to come from New York. His 2016 mixtape Black Rose was received with high acclaim, catching the attention of Nas. He was also a feature artist on XXL’s 2016 Freshmen class, adding to his popularity. His debut studio album Survival debuted at number 11 on the charts. Releasing several other projects, he has worked with a variety of artist including Chris Brown, Styles P, Wiz Khalifa and others. Aside from music, Dave East is an incredible actor in film and television. He played himself in the BET show Being Mary Jane, in addition to portraying Method Man in Hulu’s Wu-Tang: An American Saga. It is still unclear why the police cleared the venue and pepper sprayed Dave East, however no other confrontations were reported.
