Gucci Mane has definitely made headlines over the past couple of months with his personal struggles. His issues have been touched on in the past, but they have now gotten a bit worse, as it cost him the bulk of his career. Mixtapes were always a home base for Gucci Mane, but now he no longer has Atlantic Records or management.
The partnership between Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka Flame grew from the relationship he already had with his mother, Debra Antney. At the time, Debra Antney had relocated from New York City to Atlanta to separate from the industry. But, Debra Antney soon returned to work with Gucci Mane and it was very profitable.
Needless to say, they will never work together again, as Gucci Mane filed a lawsuit against Debra Antney and Waka Flocka Flame. The claims were a bit outrageous and now a response has come from Debra. She maintains she didn’t ruin him, but greed, drugs, and the women that come with it did.
