Decision From DMX’s Family Could Reportedly Arrive on Friday Regarding Whether To Continue To Keep Him on Life Support or Not

DMX is still fighting for his life after an apparent drug overdose caused him to have a heart attack last Friday. He is still in a White Plains, NY hospital as he is still on life support. Tests on his brain were conducted on Wednesday to determine his level of brain function and things are not looking good.

On Thursday night, there were a lot of rumors claiming that X was taken off of life support and that he finally passed away. According to TMZ though, this is apparently not true. His manager, Steve Rifkind, told TMZ that he is in fact still on life support and his condition hasn’t been changing at all.

X’s mother, fiancèe, Desiree Lindstrom, ex-wife, Tashera Simmons, and his baby mama, Yadirra Borrego, and his children have all reportedly bonded heavily during this time as well. They have since been staying at X’s homes in the White Plains area.

As for X’s family as a whole, a decision on whether to take him off of life support could arrive as soon as Friday. TMZ also reported that his mother would make the final decision. Hopefully, by the grace of God, X does end up pulling through.
