In eleven days, Big Boi will finally release Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors. Close to a year ago, the album was first mentioned by Big Boi. Since then, Big Boi has made a strong return to the game. This comeback was paired with strong singles, such as “Lines” and “Mama Told Me,” with Kelly Rowland.
Life + Times sat Big Boi down to explain these two songs to the public. Behind most rhymes, there is a hidden meaning. If there is no hidden meaning, then there is a line that goes over the heads of most people. Several Jay-Z songs include this, which is why he decided to have a DECODED segment on his website.
Casually, Big Boi explained the reasoning behind some of the lines in both of his singles. Always thinking outside of the box, the mantra for the Outkast duo, Big Boi’s music was able to have a unique impact on the rap game. Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors is set for release on December 17.
